Current Wedding Status:

POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The pandemic still in its apogee; vaccination efforts have started yet the process is slow and gruelling, each country has its own ways to allow travel for its citizens for both departures and arrivals along rules for welcoming non-nationals if at all allowed in the country, the hospitality and tourism sector is still at full drift without homologized practises, the guidelines and bylaws for private and public gatherings remain in flux and tumultuous change.

All of the above has lead us to postpone the wedding indefinitely until further notice.

Reiterating for clarity: There will be no wedding on Sep 11, 2021 nor the welcoming party at Pepe Luis will take place.

Once the pandemic is over and conditions for international travel become conducive again, a new date will be chosen and communicated.

Please, please, please, if you have not done so yet, REGISTER on the R.S.V.P. page of the Wedding website. This list will be used to communicate pertinent and relevant information about the status of our wedding.

On Saturday June 20, 2020 it was said...

After much thought and thorough consideration, the wedding and welcome party have been officially called off from happening in 2020.

Instead, the event has been pushed for a full year to allow for things to return to normal or any version of what the new normal could be. Save the new dates as follows:

Welcome street party @ Pepe Luis will be now on Thursday September 9th 2021
Wedding will happen on Saturday September 11th, 2021.

All event times remain the original ones.

We understand if you choose not to travel, cannot travel or attend the wedding for any reason.

Should you have made any full or partial travel and accomodation arrangements already, may we suggest that your promptly contact your airline and lodging vendor and ask to re-book for the dates above?

In situations where airfare, lodging or booked vacation time are locked, non reimbursable or are non changeable, David and Karl will fly down to enjoy a few days vacation and spend time with you socially; you should not lose on those arrangements.

On Monday May 20, 2020 it was said...

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the havoc it is causing around the world, our Wedding like any other planned event is potentially subject to change, cancellation, and/or re-scheduling.

On July 31, 2020 we will make the final decision to proceed with the wedding as planned or to cancel it and reschedule it for 2021. For now and until otherwise communicated please assume the wedding is proceeding as planned. This will include the welcome party on the 3rd of September and the Wedding on the 5th of September.
