The event goes like this...

This is a beach wedding thru and thru. It is timed, your punctuality is highly appreciated. Mother Nature does not wait for anyone and it is our illusion to say our vows as the sun sets.

We ask you to arrive at 5:30 PM, shortly after, the wedding ceremony will take place on the beach... like sand in between our toes!!!

After the I do's , we will whisk you to the pool area of the hotel for a cocktail of two while those wanting to take pictures with the grooms may do so. Be warned, all of our family and friends are silly like us, expect your instagram to be bombed by anyone at any time!

Around 8:00 PM you will be welcomed to the hall in the convention center where the party will start... we simply can't say at what time will end. You have been warned!

How do I dress for this?

We are requesting formal beach attire. Good dress ideas are shirts, pants, skirts and dresses made of natural fabrics, cotton, bamboo or linen. You are at the beach, this is your chance to wear bold, loud and fun scandalous colours. If your personality does not allow for it, then pastels can be an option for those who are more subdue.

Gentlemen have it easier, a pair of cotton pants and untucked shirt are a great idea to keep you covered and protected from the sea breeze during our ceremony. Keep your linen jacket in the car until its time to go in the convention centre and please, do forget your patent leather shoes at home! Topsiders, dress sandals, Sperry sneakers, Tom-Toms and the alike is the way to go. You need something you can remove to walk on the sand.

For the ladies, you know how to do this better than the boys. Feeling sultry? Spaghetti straps are cool when covered with a pashmina, try a ruffled dress with some flare, or one of those ethereal and revealing sheer dress with an opening to the hip that will get everyone's attention. A chal might be your perfect compliment while we are in the hall. Comfortable sandals that you can remove to walk barefoot on the beach or platforms if you think you can keep your balance while on sand. Stilettos are sexy, they are... on the dance floor only please.

In case the above didn't get the point across: Let's avoid gowns, thigh high boots, hoop dresses, Marie Antoinette rococos, crinolines... etc :)
